Meeting Santa himself comes
top of most kid’s lists of things to do at Christmas……
Visiting Santa in his
Grotto is one of our favourite modern Christmas traditions.
Is there a more amusing photograph than you as a child visiting Santa’s grotto
and sitting on Santa’s knee? Did you know the world's first Christmas grotto was opened in 1879 in Lewis’s Department Store, Liverpool and was named ‘Christmas Fairyland’. One hundred and forty two years later Christmas grottos remain very much part of this joyous tradition but they are now bigger, more elaborate, adventurous and imaginative than ever!....and that’s where Eventologists comes to the rescue every time, where every year we look forward to the hustle and bustle of designing, creating and imagineering a ‘wonderland of magic’ to entice those little ones into meet the man in red.
So what are the trends leaning to this year? Winter Wonderlands and Ice Palaces, Giant Baubles and Candy Canes, Animated Characters, Snow Globes and we definitely think a red white and blue splash of colour will be visible to all these magical decorations, because after all this has been a very special year here in the UK ......
Catch up with you later in the year when you have been wowed by one of the many ‘Eventologists’ themed Christmas Grottos. In the meantime we have a direct call coming in from Lapland about some giant Gingerbread men......
